3.65. How do I set (or reset) the moderation setting for all users?

Using the web interface it is possible to set or reset the moderation setting for all members of a list in a single operation.

Go to the Membership Management->Membership List page for the list you want to edit. At the bottom of the page is a form that lets you set the moderation setting for all list members to On or Off. Choose the appropriate setting and click the Set button.

Be aware that this is a global change for the entire list. It will change all member moderation settings.

If what you need is a temporary moratorium on posting, the Emergency Moderation setting on the General Options page may be more in line with what you need. This setting does not change the moderation setting of any of the members. It prevents all members from posting while in effect.
