4.71. Accessing the web admin interface or private archives via a framed page requires constant reauthorization (e.g., asking me to re-enter my password).

This may be a cookie issue. If so, it affects Microsoft Internet Explorer and possibly other browsers.

If the main page's URL is in one domain and the Mailman page URL opened in a frame is in a different domain, MSIE considers Mailman's cookie to be a 'third party' cookie and rejects it unless Internet Options->Privacy is set to "Low" or lower or the domain of the main page is added to allowed sites.

Note that even if you fix your browser for this, in the case of archives at least, other users will encounter the same problem. Thus, framing Mailman's pages from another domain is probably not a good idea.
