How do I send email to people on my list?

Messages sent to the list alias are distributed to the list's subscribers, for example a message sent to mailman-users@python.org gets distributed to the subscribers to the mailman-users list.

Can i have the answer to this in simple English please as i too dont have a clue on how to send people on my list my newsletter and the answer above didnt help at all?

In simple English (I hope), when you email your list, every subscriber to your list gets your email. The email address of your list is whatever-you-named-it@yourdomain.com – so, with a mailing list, one email gets the job done. It's not like you have to email each individual; just send a message to the list address and everybody gets it! Hope that clarifies things!
